PestWebNZ™
PestWebNZ™ is a free for all tool to assist farmers and agricultural professionals in decision-making regarding weed and pest identification, biology, impact and management. PestWebNZ™ contains a large number of New Zealand pasture weeds and pests, which have been chosen in consultation with key farming, industry and research personnel and the number of pests and weeds within PestWebNZ™ is growing as more information comes in.
PestWebNZ™ covers four main categories:
- Biology: the weed or pest life-cycle and where it is found;
- Impact: how the weed or pest affects your crops, pasture and livestock;
- Control: different methods used to control the weed or pest;
- Identification: use the identify tab to identify a weed, pest or its damage.
